About GIHAA

The Great Independence Hall Alumni Association (GIHAA) is dedicated to uniting alumni, supporting current students, and preserving the rich legacy of Independence Hall as the University of Ibadan’s foremost residential hall.

Our Core Objectives:

• Alumni Solidarity: Fostering mutual relationships, networking, and well-being among our members.
• Hall Development: Exchanging ideas and investing in infrastructure to maintain and enhance the hall’s prestige.
• Student Support: Providing financial assistance, mentorship, and educational programs for current “Indites.”
• Institutional Synergy: Building strong collaborations with the University of Ibadan authorities, hall staff, and broader alumni networks to drive national integration and progress.
